NATALIA G. ESCAMILLA
MCALLEN – Natalia G. Escamilla, 84, died Thursday, January 28, 2016, at her residence in McAllen.
Born in Edcouch, Mrs. Escamilla had lived in McAllen most of her life. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Mrs. Escamilla was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and mother-in-law.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clodomiro Escamilla.
Mrs. Escamilla is survived by seven children, Roberto H. (Linda) Escamilla of Edinburg, Ruben H. Escamilla (Minnie Garcia) of McAllen, Raul (Maria) Escamilla of Harlingen, Eduardo Ernesto (Yolanda) Escamilla of Edinburg, Maricela Escamilla (John Villegas) of Benavides, Oscar (Janie) Escamilla of Edinburg, Martin Escamilla of McAllen; 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; two siblings, Florentino Galvan, Jr. and Yolanda Rivera; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Saturday, January 30, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Sunday, January 31, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
