ALAMO - Elodia V. Diaz, 88, died Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at her residence in Alamo.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Eliseo Diaz; her parents, Sabino Vela and Vicenta Lopez; her son, Jaime Enrique Diaz; and five siblings, Carolina Vela, Dalia Cantu and Julia Ortiz, Zaragosa Vela and Fidel Vela.

She is survived by her children, Elda (Mario) Magallan, George (Yolanda) Diaz, Jose Diaz, Eliseo (Emily) Diaz, Jr., Alberto (Mirna) Diaz, and Sergio (Agapita) Diaz; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary, Wednesday February 4, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
