Marcimiliano "Marci" Elizalbe

MARCIMILIANO “MARCI” ELIZALDE ALAMO – Marcimiliano “Marci” Elizalde, 76, died Thursday, February 6, 2014, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Born in San Juan, Mr. Elizalde had lived in Alamo all of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arcadio and Flora Elizalde; and three brothers, Joel, Abdenego and Inocente Elizalde. Mr. Elizalde is survived by his wife, Lilia Elizalde, of Alamo; two sons, Marce (Belinda) Elizalde, of Alamo, Rolando Elizalde, of San Juan; a daughter, Maria Elena (Tim) Jimenez, of Alamo; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sara Garza, of Alamo, Jovita Gonzalez, of Pharr; and a brother, Gabriel “Penney” Elizalde, of Alamo. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, February 9, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, February 10, 2014, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
