SAN JUAN– Eligio Tovar 82, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at his residence in San Juan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Simona Tovar.

Mr. Tovar is survived by his wife, Maria Tovar; three children, Marlene Tovar, Martha Arambula, Juan Tovar; six grandchildren; four siblings, Juanita Acosta, Dora Elia Flores, Irma Ambriz, and Oscar Tovar

Visitation will be held at 5 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2025, with a 6 p.m. prayer service at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
