ELIAS CRUZ
EDINBURG - Elias Cruz, 55, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2026, in Elsa.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Ana Maria Garcia.
Mr. Cruz is survived by his wife, Maria De La Luz Hernandez; two siblings, Mundy Cruz, Noel Cruz; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Vistiation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 8 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
