ELEAZAR GUAJARDO AGUILAR
EDINBURG – Eleazar Guajardo Aguilar, 90, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026, at his residence in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Magdalena Guajardo; parents, Fernando and Carolta Guajardo; two sisters, Deila Longoria and Carlota “Cotita” Villarreal.
Mr. Guajardo is survived by his six children, Luis Alejandro (Janie) Guajardo, Eleazar (Leyda) Guajardo Jr., Fernando (Lupe) Guajardo, Sylvia (Servando) Ibarra, Miguel Guajardo, Magda (Armando) Hinojosa; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, August 31, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
