EDUARDO "WALLO" RODRIGUEZ SR.
EDINBURG – Eduardo "Wallo" Rodriguez Sr., 71, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at his residence in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by a great-grandson, Juan Leonel De Leon III; parents, Julian and Maria Rodriguez; and sister, Apolonia Urbina.
Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his ten children, Melissa (+Dave Leary) Rodriguez, Maria Estella (Silvestre Ramirez) Rodriguez, Eduardo Rodriguez Jr., Lucinda Rodriguez, Cassandra Rodriguez (Seth) Vance, Eduardo (Diana Zuniga) Rodriguez III, Leopoldo (Evelyn Saenz) Rodriguez, Miguel Angel Rodriguez, Jesus Enrique Rodriguez, Luis Francisco Rodriguez; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; eight siblings, Lydia Rodriguez Maldonado, Jose Rodriguez, Rogelio Rodriguez, Yolanda Rodriguez Garza, Arturo Rodriguez, Juan Manuel Rodriguez, Jorge Luis Rodriguez, and Julian Angel Rodriguez.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 12 noon Monday, September 30, 2024, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
