EDINBURG - Joy Eaves, 88, entered eternal rest Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Barcelona Assisted Living in McAllen.
Born in Victoria, Mrs. Eaves was formerly of Fort Worth and lived in Edinburg since 1956 and was the law librarian at the Hidalgo County Courthouse.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Ray Eaves; and her parents, Dan and Ardie Harris.
Joy is survived by her sons, Ron and Rick Eaves; three grandchildren, Patrick, Taylor, and Valerie Eaves; four great-grandchildren, Scott, Mario, Sevae, Nellie; a sister, Judith McDonough; and a brother, Don Harris.
Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
