Esperanza Diaz, 86, died Monday, February 27, 2017, at Valley Grande Manor in Weslaco.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ponciano Diaz; four children, Alfonso Diaz, Hector Diaz, Yolanda Diaz and Esperanzita Diaz.
Mrs. Diaz is survived by a son, Jose Jaime Diaz of Alamo; four daughters, Lupita Diaz, Gloria Diaz both of Alamo, Ana (Ramon) Yanez of Donna and Olga Lydia (Mario) Palacios of Alamo; 25 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral Service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo.
Funeral Services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
