DONNA- Dionicia De La Paz, 67, went home to our Lord Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at Aurora House in Weslaco.
Dionicia is preceded in death by her father, Leonardo Palacios.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Americo De La Paz, JR.; six children, Americo (Ashley) De La Paz, III, Maribel Williams, Leonardo De La Paz, Miguel Angel (Sylvia) De La Paz, Virginia (Tony Light) De La Paz, Denise Reyna De La Paz; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her mother, Carmelita Palacios; six sisters and one brother.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, August 31, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, September 1, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
