Gloria Correa De Dimas

August 1, 1940 — May 28, 2022

Gloria Correa de Dimas, 81, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Fflugerville, Texas.
She was born August 1, 1940, in Gonzaleno, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The daughter of Jose Benito Correa and Maria Concepcion Guillen. Gloria graduated from Instituto Bíblico de la Ciudad de México. They settled in Camargo, Tamaulipas, Mexico with their two oldest children and celebrated 57 years of marriage. She was a loyal and faithful member of Iglesia Biblica in McAllen, Texas. Gloria was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, a friend in times of need, an advisor, a counselor, a sister, a negotiator, a peacemaker. She was a natural and talented chef, homemaker, mechanic, doctor, and lawyer to her family and everyone who knew her. She was a giver, a tither, and committed to her church family. She visited the sick, the elderly and widows, the needy, the homeless, and served God and the community with all her heart. Gloria, our anchor, went to be with Jesus; although her family is heartbroken, they know they will see her again one day. She was our heroine and she loved Jesus Christ and had a strong belief in the faith. Her only desire was that everyone in her family and friends knew and accepted Jesus in their hearts.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernesto Dimas Thompson; two sons, Josue Otniel Dimas and Juan Marcos Dimas; parents, brothers, and sister, Maria Luisa.
Gloria is survived by her six children, Josue, Gloria, Salomon, Lorena, Daniel, and Sara; a brother, Salomon Correa Guillen.
