DONNA– Daniel Meraz,19, passed away Friday, January 16, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his father, Emilio Hernandez.

Daniel is survived by his mother, Maria Hernandez; biological parents, Jose Manuel Meraz and Cecilia Zapata; a brother, David Meraz; paternal grandfather, Jose Ramon Meraz, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will follow at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
