DAMACIO REYES

Damacio Reyes, 70, died Thursday, June 5, 2025, at his residence in Alamo.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Angelita Reyes; two siblings, Eduardo Reyes and Delia Nino; and a niece, Jessica Yvonne Vasquez.

Damacio is survived by his wife, Maria Reyes; eleven children, Damacio Reyes Jr., Gary Reyes, Brenda Lee Reyes, Dora Maganas, Sara Leticia Guerra, Gumecindo Velasquez, Jessica Rodriguez, Jose Manuel Velasquez, Jose Guadalupe Velasquez, Roger James Velasquez, and Clemente Rivera, Jr.; numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four siblings, Molly Escobedo, Sally Gomez, Jesus Reyes, Erasmo Reyes; and three sisters in law; Ida Reyes, Yolanda Reyes and Nora Reyes. 

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, June 9, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
