EDINBURG — Daisy M. Chapa ,68, passed away Friday, November 6, 2026, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Garcia and Delia Perez Hooks.
Daisy is survived by her husband, Martin Chapa; four children, Jessica Zamora (Tomas Anzaldua), Erika Zamora (Fernando Gaitan), Raul Zamora III (Laura Sandoval), Darlyn S. Chapa; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Ralph Garcia, Veronica Garza, John Paul Hooks, Cosme Garcia and Yuvia Garcia.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Wednesday November 11, 2026, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
