Ramona Cuellar Pena, 100, died Thursday, May 3, 2018, at her residence in Hidalgo.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Julian Pena Cantu; two daughters, Maria Altagracia Pena Cuellar, Maria Del Rosario Pena Cuellar; a grandson Pablo Eliud Gonzalez Pena; Siblings, Gumercindo Cuellar Pena, Maria Cuellar Pena, Mercedes Cuellar Pena, Manuela Cuellar Pena, Juan Cuellar Pena, Felix Cuellar Pena.
Ramona is survived by her 3 children, Rosalia Pena de Marichalar, Eulogio Pena, Julianita Pena de Leal; 24 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Maria Del Rosario Cuellar Pena, and Maria Eulalia Cuellar Pena.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. Rosary Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral Services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
