CRUZ ARISPE

EDINBURG - Cruz Arispe 68 of Edinburg, TX passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at home peacefully surrounded by her family.

Born in San Juan, TX. She was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Guadalupe (Ernesta) Arispe.

Cruz was known for her hard-working ethics. She approached every chapter of her life with determination and grace. She was committed to her work and took pride in a job well done. She worked for Microbiology Specialty Lab for 15 years and was presently working for Clinical Pathology Laboratories for the last 12 years. She had boundless love for her family and was a devoted daughter, mother, partner, sister, aunt and friend. She always made the time to spend with her family. She was a lover of animals and always felt they were part of the family. In addition, she loved to travel and dance. She always had a warm smile and a generous spirit which she will always be remembered for.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. & Mrs. Guadalupe (Ernesta) Arispe; three brothers, Leonel, Guadalupe Jr. and Eduardo Arispe; and her partner, Leonardo Reyes.

Cruz is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Kyle) Bravo-Bizzell; four siblings, Orfelinda A. Hernandez, Gloria (Hector) Garcia, Soledad (Rolando) Guzman, Janie (Adrian) A. Medrano; 15 nephews and nieces; and 11 great-nephews and nieces.

Serving as pallbearers will be; Hector Garcia Jr, Mark Hernandez, Gustavo Garcia, Kyle Bizzell, Alejandro Medrano, Aaron Garcia, Jacob Molina,

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Monday, June 1, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery in San Juan.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
