FRANCISCO B. CORONADO, SR.
EDINBURG - Francisco B. Coronado, Sr., 91, died Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Life Care Hospital in McAllen.
Born in San Jose de las Flores, N.L., Mexico, Mr. Coronado had lived in Edinburg most of his life and was a member of Christian Life Church in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria R. Coronado; a daughter, Evita Coronado; a son, Adam Coronado; a granddaughter, Stephanie Ann Coronado; two brothers and three sisters.
Mr. Coronado is survived by 12 children, Maria Isabel (Alberto) De Leon, Eliza (Reyes) Becerra, Eva (Eliezer) Olivares, Maria Elena (Jose M.) Cantu, Pablo (Iris) Coronado, Elisabet (Esequiel) Zarate, Francisco B. (Susan) Coronado, Jr., Marissa (Victor) Lopez, Adelina Coronado Carrillo, all of Edinburg, Ruben (Twila) Coronado of Fresno, California, Rebecca (Marcos) Alaniz of Carrizo Springs, Texas, Isaias Coronado of Humble, Texas; 34 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a daughter-in-law, Adriana (Adam) Coronado of Pearland, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, today, May 12, 2011 at Christian Life Church, 321 N. M Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, May 13, 2011 at Christian Life Church. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
