EDINBURG – Carlos Contreras, 41, went home to our Lord Saturday, April 28, 2018, in Corpus Christi.
He was born in Edinburg and lived there all of his life.
Mr. Contreras is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Maura Rodriguez, paternal grandfather, Ubaldo Contreras, uncle, Martin Contreras, and aunt, Raquel Montanez.
He is survived by his son, Carlos Contreras, Jr.; his parents, Rosalio and Juanita Contreras; a sister, Aracely (Juan) Contreras Vallejo; a brother, Jesse (Cristina) Contreras; nephews and nieces, Angelina, Angel, Tiffany, and Jonathan Vallejo, Jeslyn, Dominique, Jesse II, and Brandon Contreras; paternal grandmother, Maria Guadalupe Contreras; maternal grandfather, Jesus R. Rodriguez; and uncles and aunts.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, April 30, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at First Lutheran Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
