Connie Champion
San Juan– Connie Champion, 86, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Celto B. Champion; son, Martin Champion; her parents, Esteban and Angela Arredondo; and brothers, Isabel and Esteban Arredondo.
Connie is survived by siblings, Juanita, Jose and Roberto Arredondo and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, November 1, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2026, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
