CELIA H. GARZA

EDINBURG – Celia H. Garza, 87, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. 

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Celia Garza; parents, Leonardo and Elvira Hernandez; three siblings, Romana Jonquitud, Ebeldia Marquez, and Antonio Hernandez. 

Mrs. Garza is survived by her husband, Noe Esteban Garza; daughter, Nora (Jaime) Olivarez; three grandchildren, Steffi (Pablo) Trevino, Jordan Olivarez, John-Paul Olivarez; great-grandson, Rico Trevino IV; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, September 2, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley Veterans Cemetery in Mission. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
