CELIA L. ANZALDUA
EDINBURG – Celia L. Anzaldua, 92, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Comfort House in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Adalberto Anzaldua; granddaughter, Andrea Teresse Anzaldua; parents, Roman V. and Lilia Lopez; three siblings, David Lopez, Armando Lopez, and Olga Villarreal.
Mrs. Anzaldua is survived by her three children, Omar (Dalinda) Anzaldua, Ronaldo (Maggie) Anzaldua, Rosie (Benny) Rodriguez; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; three siblings, Naida Cantu, Roman V. Lopez Jr., and Becky Farias.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
