DONNA– Catalina Macias,81, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco.

Mrs. Macias is survived by her ten children, Yolanda Briseno, Jesus Briseno, Francisca Briseno, Ruben Briseno, Margarita Briseno, Blanca Estela Villafranca, Maria Luisa Villafranca, Nereida Villafranca, Ludivina Villafranca, and Juan Miguel Villafranca; seven grandchildren; sister, Josefina Rodriguez; and two brothers Gregorio Rodriguez, and Julio Rodriguez.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary, Monday, February 2, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
