MANUEL CASAS
ALAMO – Manuel Casas, 42, died Thursday, September 30, 2010, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Manuel Casas Garza and Trinidad Elizondo de Casas; and maternal grandfather, Aurelio Barrera.
Manuel is survived by his wife, Virginia “Ginger” Casas; a daughter, Vanessa; his parents, Melquiades Casas and Clarita Barrera Casas; three sisters, Marilyn (Carlos) De Luna, Sandra (Bobby) Garcia and Rosie (Carlos) Perez; two brothers, Mel Casas Jr. and Joel (Patty) Casas; maternal grandmother, Maria Del Rosario “Chala” Barrera; his in-laws, Gloria Gracia and David Coronado; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary Sunday, October 3, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am Monday, October 4, 2010, Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
