ROEL CANTU
ALAMO - Roel Cantu, 70, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at McAllen Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Domingo and Gertrudis Cantu; and his brother, Domingo Cantu.
Mr. Cantu is survived by the mother of his children, Lucila M. Cantu of Alamo; three children, Roel (Noemi) Cantu, Jr. of El Campo, TX, Maria Cecilia (Robert) Garcia, Paula Gertrudis (Carlos) Alaniz, both of Alamo; eight grandchildren; a sister, Ludivina Gonzalez; and a brother, Rolando Cantu.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Friday January, 28, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
