MARIA DELIA CANTU
PHARR-Maria Delia Cantu, 67, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in her death by her parents, Ernesto and Herminia Cano and her two brothers, Ernesto Jr. and Ruben Cano.
Delia is survived by her husband of 43 years, Armando Cantu; her two sons, Armando Jr. and David Cantu; her daughter-in-law, Junelle; two grandchildren, Travis and Lauren Cantu; her sister, Maria S. Cano; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Delia was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a great friend. She retired from the PSJA School District after many years of service. Delia enjoyed spending time with family, spoiling her grandkids, and loved the Dallas Cowboys.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, May 14, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
