Gloria Cano Sandoval

SAN JUAN – Gloria Cano Sandoval, 85, went home to our Lord Sunday, April 29, 2018, at McAllen Medical center.
Born in San Juan, Gloria had lived there all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Roel Sandoval; her son, Juan Roel Sandoval; her parents, Israel and Maria Del Refugio Cano; four siblings, Lencho Cano, Anita Castillo, Ruben Cano and Juventino Cano.

Gloria is survived by four children, Artemio (Lisa) Sandoval, Albert (Francisca) Sandoval, Robert (Mary Edna) Sandoval, all of San Juan, Yolanda (Martin) Winchester of Austin; 11 grandchildren; six siblings, Israel (Lola) Cano of Parlier, CA, Domingo (Dalia) Cano, Oralia (Ruben) Villarreal, both of Monte Alto, TX, Pedro Cano, Angelica (†Gregorio) Cantu, Heriberto “Beto” (America) Cano, all of Parlier, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, May 2, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 2018, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery in San Juan.
