SAN JUAN – Jaime Saenz Cano, 63, died Monday, August 3, 2009 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Born in San Juan, Mr. Cano had lived there most of his life and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan.
Mr. Cano is survived by his wife, Diana Cano of San Juan; three daughters, Anissa Cano (Brian) Canales of Edinburg, Cristina Cano and Griselda Cano, both of Pharr; a son, Jaime (Ashley) Cano of Pharr; a step-daughter, Fatima Chimely Ramirez; his parents, Basilio and Olga Cano of San Juan; three sisters, Irma Cano, Lucy (Steve) Parrott, both of San Juan and Olga (Gary) Grammer of Carbondale, Illinois; a brother, Homero (Ernestina) Cano of Edinburg; four grandchildren; three nieces; and three nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, August 5, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 6, 2009 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
