JUANITA CABRIELES SAN JUAN – Juanita Cabrieles, 93, died Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Las Palmas Healthcare Center in McAllen. Born in San Antonio, TX, she had lived in San Juan since 1946, and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish. Mrs. Cabrieles is survived by her husband of 74 years, Cayetano Cabrieles of San Juan; four children, Beto (Nilda) Cabrieles, Chano (Irene) Cabrieles, both of Mission, Coco (Salomon) Aranda, Carmen (+Carlos) Gomez, both of San Juan; seven grandchildren, Jorge, Erica, Yvonne, Yvette, Cesar, Veronica, Juan Carlos; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
