BRENDA MARIE ORASI-CASTELLANOS
EDINBURG- Brenda Marie Orasi-Castellanos, 33, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at McAllen Medical Center.
Brenda was one of the kindest, strongest, and most compassionate people you could ever meet. She dedicated her life to helping others, always putting the needs of those around her before her own. Whether it was family, friends, or complete strangers, Brenda never hesitated to offer encouragement, support, or a helping hand.
She earned her Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and became a Licensed Professional Counselor, fulfilling her calling to care for others during life's most difficult moments.
Above all else, Brenda was a devoted daughter, loving wife, and incredible mother. Her children were the center of her world, and everything she did was motivated by her love for them. Her smile, warmth, and unwavering generosity left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Brenda also lived with Dandy-Walker Syndrome and became a passionate advocate for others facing the same challenges. Through her support of the Dandy-Walker Foundation and countless individuals affected by the condition, she demonstrated remarkable courage, resilience, and compassion.
