MARIA INES BERRONES
PHARR – Maria Ines Berrones, 79, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Guadalupe Berrones; two brothers, Victor Berrones Jr., and Casimiro Berrones; and four sisters, Lupita Lozano, Berta Fuentes, Eloisa Arjona, Julia Salas.
Ms. Berrones is survived by her three siblings, Maria “Cuca” R. (Artemio “Chemo”) Palacios, Mercedes “Chela” Solana and Teresa (Louis) Pontius.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service, Monday, May 2, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Interment of cremated remains will take place at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen at a later date.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
