ENRIQUE BENAVIDEZ
San Juan- Enrique Benavidez, 73, died Friday, January 27, 2012 at McAllen Medical Center.
Born in Goliad, Texas, Mr. Benavidez had lived in San Juan for 26 years and was formerly of Pharr. He was a member of Iglesia Buenas Nuevas Pentecostes in Pharr.
Mr. Benavidez is survived by his wife, Criselda Benavidez, of San Juan; six children, Jose Maria (Maria de los Angeles) Benavidez of San Juan, Rebecca (Alberto Gonzalez) Benavidez, Diana Benavidez (David) Luna, both of Pharr, Enrique (Sabrina) of San Antonio Texas, Norma (Elizandro) De Hoyos of Pharr, Veronica Benavidez of San Juan; 14 grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; and a sister, Angelica Rodriguez of Houston, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, today, January 29, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2012, at Iglesia Buenas Nuevas Pentecostes in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
