EDINBURG - Delia Aurora Avitia, 41, died Friday, July 29, 2016, in Donna.
Delia was born in Edinburg and lived there all of her life.
She was a beautiful soul who never met a stranger.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Juanita and Aurelio Garcia, Sr.
Delia is survived by two children, William Joseph Shawn, Jr. of San Juan and
Zoee Jeanette Tijerina of Edinburg; 12 siblings, Mary (Abel) Huerta of Round
Rock, Tomasa (Alvino) Garcia of Oklahoma, Minerva (Salvador) Barajas of
McAllen, Frances (Juan Luis) Betancourt, Angelita Garcia, Gaspar (Rosa)
Garcia, Juanita (Fred) Hernandez, all of Edinburg, Irene (Dr. Curtis) White
of Pflugerville, Benilde (Rolando) Garcia of Pharr, Aurelio, Jr. (Margaret)
Garcia, of New Mexico, Christina (Jose) Soto of Round Rock, Jose Hector
Garcia of Edinburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, August 1,
2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
