AUGUSTINE HERNANDEZ
MISSION – Augustine Hernandez, 60, died Tuesday March 31, 2026, at Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his father, Refugio Hernandez.
Augustine is survived by his wife of 23 years, Lydia Martinez; four children, Jessica Hernandez, Melissa Hernandez, Ruby Hernandez, Stephanie Hernandez; three grandchildren; mother, Victoria Almazar; and five siblings, Maria Castillo, Roberto Hernandez, Martin Hernandez, Maria Teresa Rodriguez and Maria Herrera.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with 6 p.m. rosary, Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
