EDINBURG - Audelia B. Torres, 86, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025, at her residence in Edinburg. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose R. Torres; two children, Francisco Torres, Omar Torres; parents, Jose Barrientes and Dolores Casas; five siblings, Emma Hernandez, Ramona Rodriguez, Armando Barrientes, Aurora Barrientes, and Isaac Barrientes.  

Mrs. Torres is survived by her nine children, Juan (Maria Rosario) Torres, Dolores (Ramiro) Esquivel, Juanita (Jose Guadalupe) Bocanegra, Jorge (Juanita) Torres, Norma Torres, Marisela (Abel) Guerrero, Sylvia Torres, Jose (Guadalupe Macarena) Torres, Margarito (Laura Marta) Torres; 32 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with at rosary at 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.  Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg.  Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
