EDUARDO ARGUELLES EDINBURG - Eduardo Aruguelles, 38, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 in Edinburg. He is survived by his wife, Monette Escaname of Edinburg; a daughter, Skyler Quait of Edinburg; a son, Santiago Eduardo Arguelles of Edinburg; his father, Jose Arguelles of Oregon; his mother, Sylvia Garcia of Weslaco; four brothers, Gerardo Reyes of Alamo, Lorenzo Garcia of Weslaco, Jeremy Arguelles of North Carolina, Bobby Arguelles of Oregon; and two sisters, Claudia Garcia of Weslaco and Tamara Fox of Florida. Eduardo had lived in Edinburg since 1994 and was formerly of Alamo. Eduardo was an avid cyclist who often quoted Lance Armstrong, "pain is temporary". Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
