ARGELIA DE LEON
PHARR – Argelia De Leon, 80, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Colonial Manor Advance Rehab & Healthcare in Pharr.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Simon Quintanilla and Cristela Anaya.
Argelia is survived by her children, Mary Leal De Leon, Nydia (Roberto) Cavazos, Aristeo (LiBia) De Leon, Jr., Juan Angel (Abigail) De Leon, Romeo (Mayra) De Leon; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Graciela Villarreal, Blanca Resendez, Elyssa Solis, Gloria Leal, Ninfa Garza, Javier Quintanilla, Guadalupe Quintanilla, Rogelio Quintanilla and Hector Quintanilla.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. Celebration of Life, Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral Service will take place 8 a.m., Friday, June 12, 2026 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
