ANGELITA REYES SALAS

EDINBURG – Angelita Reyes Salas, 87, passed away Friday, May 23, 2025, at her residence in Edinburg.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Silverio L. Salas; parents, Aniceto and Juanita H. Reyes; two brothers, Enrique Reyes and Guadalupe Reyes.

Mrs. Salas is survived by her three children, Sylvia Salas, Velma Barreiro, Silverio Salas Jr.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two siblings, Jose Angel Reyes, and Julia R. Salazar.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E Canton in Edinburg. Funeral  service will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
