ALAMO- Andrea Hernandez, 97, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026, at Colonial Manor in Pharr.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Hernandez; two children, Jose (San Juanita) Hernandez, Raul Hernandez; a brother, Teodoro Santoyo; and a sister, Jovita Santoyo.
Andrea is survived by four children, Juan (Reyna) Hernandez, Jr., Maria Teresa (Juan) Espericueta, Yolanda Hernandez, Ernesto Hernandez; a step brother, Juan Santoyo; 18 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., with a 6 p.m. service on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo.
