ALAMO- Andrea Hernandez, 97, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026, at Colonial Manor in Pharr.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Hernandez; four children, Tomas Hernandez, Gabriel Pascual Hernandez, Jose Hernandez, Raul Hernandez; a brother, Teodoro Santoyo; and a sister, Jovita Santoyo; step brother, Juan Santoyo.
Andrea is survived by four children, Juan (Reyna) Hernandez, Jr., Maria Teresa (Juan) Espericueta, Yolanda Hernandez, Ernesto Hernandez; Daughter-in-law, San Juanita Hernandez;18 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., with a 6 p.m. service on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo.
