Amalia S. Cano
Alamo – Amalia S. Cano, 94, died Friday, October 16, 2026, at her residence in Alamo.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Cano; her parents, Domingo and Virginia Sanchez; and three siblings.
She is survived by six children, Irma (Rey) Caballero, Miguel (Jesica) Cano, Javier Jaime (Estela) Cano, Rebecca (Juan) Nava, Marina (Leopoido) Olivarez, Jose Cano; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
