EDINBURG – Amado Espinoza Ramirez, 88, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Hidalgo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Hernandez Delgado; and siblings, Juan Espinoza Ramirez, Daniel Espinoza Ramirez, Maura Polendo, Emiliano Espinoza, Rosa Espinoza, Maria Cruz Garcia, Enriqueta Casarez, Celia Lopez and Andrea Espinoza.
Amado is survived by eight children, Jorge (Marina) Espinoza, Hector Daniel (Arcelia) Espinoza, Ernesto (Maria Magdalena) Espinoza, Jesus Armando (Lucia) Espinoza, Rodolfo (Cecilia) Espinoza, Juan Gerardo Espinoza, Sulema Espinoza, Victor Manuel (Maritza) Espinoza; 22 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Maria Adela Lopez Espinoza.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
