Teresa Alvarez

Teresa Alvarez, 89, died Friday, March 3, 2023, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Santos Alvarez; and a daughter, Lucia Alvarez.
Mrs. Alvarez is survived by her ten children, Guadalupe, Esteban, Senobia, Camerina and Antonio Alvarez, all of Pharr, Cirilo and Maria Luisa Alvarez, both of Reynosa, Martin Alvarez of Houston, Reyes Alvarez of Kansas, Eva Alvarez of San Juan; 45 grandchildren; and 51 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary today, March 7, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
