Jose Oscar “Bowie” Almanza, 43, died Thursday, November 30, 2017, at McAllen Medical Center.
Mr. Almaza was born in Edinburg and lived there all of his life.
He is preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe Almanza.
Jose is survived by his wife, Audrey Alonzo; four children, Samantha J. Almanza, Amanda M. Almanza, Jose Oscar Almanza Jr., Audrey L. Almanza; four grandchildren; his mother, Minerva Munoz; five siblings, Candelario Almanza, Herlinda (Frank) A. Salazar, Maricela (Mauro) Vasquez, Guadalupe (Cristina) Almanza Jr., Norma E. Almanza.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
