MANUELA ALANIZ
McALLEN – Manuela Alaniz, 67, died Friday, December 11, 2009, at her residence in McAllen.
Born in Pharr, Mrs. Alaniz had lived in McAllen most of her life and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Carmen Lopez.
Mrs. Alaniz is survived by her husband, Rogelio Alaniz; two sons, Alex (Ruth) Alaniz and Michael Alaniz; a grandson, Michael Alaniz, Jr.; two brothers, Jesus and Israel Lopez; two sisters, Mercedes (Joe Longoria) McCain and Aide Lopez; and a brother-in-law, Guadalupe (Tommie) Alaniz.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, December 14, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
