Agustin Lara, 61, entered eternal rest Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at South Texas Health System McAllen.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Armando and Antonia Lara; and a brother, Armando Lara Jr.
Mr. Lara is survived by his wife of 38 years, Rosa Elena Lara; two children, Joseph Angel Lara and Angela (Roberto) Flores; and five siblings, Elias (Sandra) Lara, Ruben (Maria) Lara, Raul (Debbie) Lara, Fiderico (Alicia) Lara, Criselia (Ramon) Trevino.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Monday, April 6, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
