ADOLFO AVALOZ HUERTA

EDINBURG – Adolfo Avaloz Huerta, 82, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his family. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eluterio and Juliana Huerta; and five siblings. 

Mr. Huerta is survived by his wife, Ana Maria Huerta; son, Guadalupe (Nancy E.) Vasquez III; three grandchildren, Anna Marie Laurent, Albert G. (Roxana) Vasquez, Adrian L. (Ana) Vasquez; five great-grandchildren, Matthew Vasquez, William Laurent, Juliette Vasquez, Alyson Vasquez, Andrew Vasquez; three siblings, Benito Huerta, Tomas Huerta, and Tiburcio Huerta. 

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8:30 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. rosary Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 9:30 a.m. Friday, October 4, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
