SAN JUAN- Adela B. Rodriguez, 91, died Sunday, August 4, 2024, at her residence in San Juan.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Rodriguez; her parents, Francisco and Adela Borrego; three sons, Frilan Rodriguez, Carlos Rodriguez Jr., and Fernando Rodriguez.

Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her children, Rosa (+Romeo) Rodriguez, Leticia (James) Mattox, Juan (Delia) Rodriguez, Javier Rodriguez, and David (Leticia) Rodriguez; a daughter-in-law, Alicia “Licha” Rodriguez; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; One great-great-grandchild; a brother, Ernesto Borrego; and a sister, Olivia Amaya.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
