ADAN ALANIZ
EDINBURG – Adan Alaniz, 79, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at his residence in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and San Juana Alaniz; two brothers; and a sister.
Mr. Alaniz is survived by his wife, Leonora Alaniz; three children, Leonorilda Alaniz, Yesenia (George) Salinas, Adan Leonardo Alaniz; five grandchildren, James Michael Fowler, Brittney Morgan (Eddie) Leal, Leonorilda Alexis Villarreal, Joslynn Renee Villarreal, Noah Adan Salinas; great-granddaughter, Gia Noelle Pompa; three brothers; and four sisters.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Entombment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
