ABEL NAVA
SAN JUAN– Abel Nava, 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at his residence in San Juan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raul and Candida Nava; and a brother, Juan Nava.
He is survived by his wife, Sofia Nava; three step-children, Cesar (Selen) Guerrero, Jorge (Mabel) Guerrero, Sandra Razo; 10 step-grandchildren; and eight siblings.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a rosary at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 311 E. Expressway 83, San Juan, Texas. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will follow at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
